Admissions &
How It Works
A Clear and Supportive Admissions Process
A Clear and Supportive Admissions Process
At Al-Bashir Academy, admissions are handled with care, clarity, and responsibility.
All programmes are enquiry-based, allowing us to ensure that each student is placed appropriately and supported properly from the outset.
Step 1: Submit an Enquiry
The admissions process begins by submitting an enquiry through our website.
When completing the enquiry form, you will be asked to indicate:
• Who the enquiry is for (child or adult)
• Which programme you are interested in
• Your location (UK or international)
This helps us respond accurately and efficiently.
[ Submit an Enquiry ]
Step 2: Initial Review
Once your enquiry is received:
• A member of our team reviews the information provided
• We consider suitability based on age, programme type, and delivery method
• Where required, we may request further details before proceeding
All enquiries are handled confidentially.
Step 3: Assessment (Where Applicable)
Children’s Qur’an Programme
For children enrolling in Qur’an classes:
• An initial assessment is carried out
• This helps determine:
o Current reading ability
o Familiarity with Tajweed rules
o Appropriate class placement
The assessment ensures that children are neither rushed nor held back unnecessarily.
Adult & Dars-e-Nizami Programmes
For adult learners:
• Assessment is based on discussion, background, and expectations
• For Dars-e-Nizami, suitability and commitment are carefully considered
Step 4: Guidance & Placement
Following assessment:
• You will be advised on the most suitable programme or class
• Delivery options (online / in-person where applicable) are clarified
• Expectations regarding attendance and commitment are explained
Our aim is to place students where they can benefit, progress, and remain consistent.
Step 5: Enrolment & Start
Once placement is agreed:
• Enrolment details are confirmed
• Start dates and timetables are shared
• Students are guided on how to begin confidently
For paid programmes, fee details are provided clearly before enrolment is finalised.
Important Admissions Principles
Admissions are not first-come, first-served
- Suitability and wellbeing take priority over numbers
- Not every programme is suitable for every learner
- Clear expectations are set from the outset
Safeguarding & Care
All admissions decisions and placements operate within the framework of our safeguarding and gender policies.
Parents and students are encouraged to review these policies as part of the admissions process.
